Rationale for Objective #9
For Learning Objective #9, I chose the e-poster board submitted to Research Class SOCW 417 because of the content of qualitative and quantitive research methods used to evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of evidence-based interventions with individual, families, small groups, organizations, and communities.
Included in the professionally developed e-poster board is an introduction of elder abuse and how social services through the VOCA (Victim of Crimes Act) program at Partnership for Families, Children and Adults empowers clients to live better lives. There are also ten recommendations for social work practice and an annotated bibliography included for observation on the project.
